Black Friday "Pre-To-Do" List, Prepping yourself for the sales.

Making the list was the easy(er) part of prepping for Black Friday shopping, so now what? How do you know you are ready for the hussel and bussel of what is "Black Friday"? I'm compiled a list of things I call my "pre-to-do-list". Now that you know what you want, you have to put together how you are going to get them.

1. Keep yourself updated. This means to stay up to date and informed with things like the weather and traffic reports to make sure your trip will be safe as well as no detours will be needed to be made aware of.
2. Have an itinerary. List the stores you want to go to and have the stores info listed. Try to make the most direct rout to each location. If you are on a tight schedule remember that when these stores first open their doors the crowd will be intense and shopping will be hectic. It is important to stay calm during this time.
3. Dress for the occasion. Dressing for the occasion is simple. If it is blizzarding outside make sure you are dressed very warm but make sure you can downsize the layers because stores will be heated and warm and you don't want to be uncomfortable while on the "hunt" for the lists on your Black Friday shopping list.
4. Have a Back Up Plan. If something needs to be adjusted or changed due to delays/detours/business changes/sale changes/etc. always have a second option. If one place is already so packed or sold out have a second location to fall back on if needed.                                                                                                     5. Don't shop while hungry! This almost should be number one on the list because if you get hungry while shopping it can make the whole even horrible. Eating a well balanced meal before heading out is important as well as keeping things like crackers, bananas, juice/water, and other small foods with you in case you do happen to start getting hungry. The snacks will tie you over.
6. Have a shopping buddy. Having someone along for the trip will makes things much easier and much safer. People have been known to do some out of the normal things during these types of sales. Make sure to keep your things locked in your car while inside the business. Better to be safe than sorry.
Enjoy yourself and have a good time. There is nothing like having a great time and getting some great deals. Good luck and Happy Black Friday shopping!
